Diaconal Activities
Areopagos combines dialogue with Christian service because we believe that the social context of people is an integral part of the conversation about faith. Dialogue and diapraxis must go hand in hand. Areopagos stands in this way for a holistic view of the human being and of salvation. Our diaconal service in China is rooted in the local culture and carried out through local organisations.
Focus:
• Community projects in which education, health, environment and advocacy are essential, aiming at children, women, the elderly and the handicapped.
• Sponsorship programmes for children and youth
• Vocational courses for health personnel
• Advocacy projects in cooperation with local partners.
